Sinclair Community Centre

The new community center is located in Sinclair MB, about 360 km west of Winnipeg and close to the border between MB and SK. the 7500 square feet community center include the hall, the gym, the multipurpose room, a large scale residential type kitchen. The mechanical design includes:

• Two electrical air handling units serving the entire building. One unit serves one zone, which has different conditions compared to other zones, to maximize comfort level.
• Demand ventilation control. CO2 sensors are installed to modulate the outdoor air intake flow to match the occupancy load of the space
• ERV units for heat recovery in order to maximize energy efficiency.
• Electrical in-floor heating of 15 feet wide along the perimeter of the building. The in-floor heating loop temperature is reset with outdoor temperature
• Decent washroom layout and plumbing fixture selection to suit for universal access.
